On Tuesday 15 July our staff team had a day out at Thorpe Park. The sun was shining, we were all in good spirits and a splendid time was had by all. I hope you enjoy looking at some of the photographs that were taken on our fab day out!!!!! I work with a bunch of nutters so how could we fail to have a great time????

Belinda with Bertie and Ravin ride the Carousel. Ravin is sat on a childs horse at this point and soon swaped for a larger adults horse due to being very uncomfortable!!! Jane then sat on this tiny kids horse too but I won't repeat what she said about how small it was and how uncomfortable it would be if you were a man sat on it!!!!! Jane, I don't know!!! Hee Hee!!!!

 

Rach, Ian, Ravin and Jane ride the Rapids. Ian and I chose the worst possible seats as when we went into the tunnel we got absolutely soaked. I tried to cover my head with my trackie top but my nasty work mates ganged up on me and were pulling and tugging at it. I escaped with a drenched back and jeans. Thanks guys!!!

I really must say a big thanks to Natalie who actually saved my life when we went on Colossos. I have been on this ride loads of times but this particular day I was feeling very very nervous. Everyone was getting sick of me saying 'I'm scared' every few minutes whilst queuing up. And we were in the queue about 45 minutes!!!

When we got on the ride Nat sat next to me and I turned to her and said 'I'm getting off'. Nat replied 'No you're ******* not' and clicked my belt in quick!! I was such a wuss that we held hands throughout the whole ride!! As we made our way up to the first drop I was chanting 'Paul McCartney, Paul McCartney' to try and take my mind off my fear!! Just before the drop Nat said to me 'Paul McCartney loves you' and as we dropped I shouted 'I know he doessssssssssssss'!!! I've no idea who's dafter me or Nat!!!!

 

Nat and Ian after they came off 'Stealth'!!! There was no way I was going on that. Ravin and Prosper were also brave enough to go on. Respect due!!!
