In my life these are a few of my favourite things!!!!

It's no secret I'm a Paul McCartney Fan. I was born a Paul McCartney Fan and being a Paul McCartney Fan is what I do best. If you haven't already checked out the other pages on my website relating to my love of Paul McCartney then please take a look around. They will show you more about the very most favourite thing in my life - Paul McCartney and his music!

I love Manchester. I was born and bred in Manchester, grew up in Manchester. And although I no longer live in my beloved City it's still the greatest place on earth.

I was born in Withington hospital. My early years were spent in Rusholme and Fallowfield and my teenage years in Wythenshawe (that's why I'm dead tough)!

I attended Heald Place Primary School and Whalley Range High School for Girls. Heald Place was a brilliant school and I am still in close contact with many of my classmates. Most of us went onto Whalley Range together so I've had my friends in my life a long time. Whalley Range was a blast even though we didn't get very much work done (if any actually). I wouldn't change a single thing about my schooldays. Brilliant fun. So yeah I love Manchester and I loved my schooldays.

I am a Manchester City fan. Our house in Letchworth Street, Rusholme was right opposite Maine Road. I first went to a Man City match when I was at primary school and we were given some free tickets.

In the mid 90's I spent a couple of years working at Maine Road in the Ticket Office and on Reception. I got 2 free tickets to every City home game which was really cool and got to attend Player of the Year awards and the like.

I was thrilled to be at the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday 14 May 2011 to see Man City lift the famous trophy and end what was a very long number of years without any silverware. City finished 3rd in the Premier League and qualified for the Champions League (2011). It has been a great season and I look forward to a new era at Manchester City Football Club.

I love Coronation Street. I have been watching this soap since I was about 7 years old back in 1979. My parents used to watch it so I have grown up with it. I remember in the olden days when it was only on twice a week on a Monday and a Wednesday. When it ended with a cliff hanger on a Wednesday evening it was a bugger having to wait all week til the following Monday to see what happened. And no ITV Player if you missed an episode!

Corrie is great and I never miss an episode, it's the only programme I make sure I watch, if I miss anything else on TV it doesn't matter!!

My favourite actor is Leslie Grantham. I first started liking Leslie way back in 1985 when EastEnders hit our televison screens. I was 12 years old.

I have a very large collection of Leslie Grantham memorabilia and I have built a website in honour of the great man himself. You can take a look at my effort at www.lesliegrantham.com

I have met Leslie numerous times and have seen him on stage in many plays and panto's. He's a lovely, friendly man and a really great actor.

My favourite movie star is Dustin Hoffman.

My favourite clothes shop is River Island.

My favourite horror film is Halloween.

I love Chocolate Milk shake.

My favourite movie of all time is Back to the Future.

I absolutely love Back to the Future. I first saw it in the cinema when it was released in 1985 and fell in love with the clever stoyline and all the amazing cast. And to this day it remains my favourite movie of all time. I know all the words and I never tire of watching it. It recently celebrated it's 25th Anniversary in 2010 and was shown again in cinemas across the country. Of course I had to go along and see it again on the big screen!

'Doc Brown' and the Time Machine at Universal Studios, Florida

On a visit to Universal Studios in Hollywood I went on the back lot tour. I was thrilled to see the original DeLorean and Biffs car that got covered in manure on display. And on a recent visit to Universal Studios in Florida I was really excited to see the train used in Back to the Future 111.

I love Chris Tarrant.

My Millionaire Moment!!!!!

I was at a recording of 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' on Tuesday 1 May 2007, the last in the present series.

Anyway everytime I go to a recording the warm-up man Ray asks if anyone fancies Chris Tarrant. I've never put my hand up before but this time I put it up in record time and Ray said 'that was quick'.

He then asked me if I really fancy Chris and I said 'yes'. So he said when he tells me to at a suitable break in filming will I stand up and shout at Chris 'Chris Tarrant you are the father of my child'. I said I would. Chris was still back stage at this point.

He made me practice my line. I stood up in front of the whole audience and shouted it out!!!! I got a big clap and cheer!! All I had to do now was wait for a break in filming and for Ray to give me my cue!!! I was nervous but I couldn't wait to do it either!

Anyway during a break Ray said to Chris someone wants to tell you something so I stood up and shouted as loud as I could CHRIS TARRANT YOU ARE THE FATHER OF MY CHILD!!!

Chris came over to me looked at me a few times and said 'yeah I think I probably am' then added 'I told you to take the morning after pill'!!!! I was in heaven and shaking like a leaf by now!!!

Then during little breaks in filming Chris mouthed to me 'I love you' and he kept waving and pretending to rock a baby in his arms!!!!!!

It was just a bit of silly fun but I was absolutely thrilled and it rates alongside being soaked by Chris in The Cage on the Tiswas Reunited special. Click HERE to be directed to my Tiswas Reunited page.

I love Rowan Atkinson and Blackadder

Me and the fabulous Rowan Atkinson outside theTheatre Royal, Drury Lane, London 25 June 2009

I have been a fan of Rowan Atkinson for over 20 years. I love when he does stand up and who doesn't love him in his role as Edmund Blackadder in the wonderfully funny Blackadder tv series?

I first saw Rowan Atkinson on stage in the late 80's at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. He was fantastic. It was also here Rowan gave Mr Bean, a then very new character one of his first outings. It was a pleasure to have been there to witness the start of this much loved chracter.

Sadly Rowan didn't appear much on stage after that until he took the role of Fagin in Oliver in the West End. I saw the show twice in 2009 and it was amazing. Rowan was absolutely perfect for the part of Fagin and he thrilled every audience who came to see the show. I was lucky enough to meet him at the stage door a couple of times and have my photo taken with him. A quiet man but an absolute comedy legend.

I love Jerry Springer

I saw Jerry in 'Chicago' the musical in London and he was fantastic. He was lovely to chat to and made sure everyone who wanted autographs and photo's at the stage door got them. A true star. 'Jerry Jerry Jerry'!!!!!!!!!!

I love David Essex

I have been a fan of David Essex for as long as I can remember. I first saw him in concert in 1988 when I was 16 when I was given tickets for my birthday. I have seen him in concert, shows and panto many times since. David tours most years and I made sure I got to see him and have often been at the front screaming along with all his other crazy female fans.

David is brilliant in concert, he's funny, he interacts with the audience and he can still belt out Rock On, Hold Me Close and Gonna Make You a Star as though he was still in the 1970's!!!! David Essex is a National Treasure and I'm proud to call myself a fan!

I love Chas n Dave

Well what can you say about Chas n Dave?? I have seen them a few times in concert and have met them a few times too!

I was lucky enough to have a back stage pass for Joe Brown's 50th Anniversary gig at the Royal Albert Hall a few years ago and Chas n Dave were taking part. Before the show I was stood on the stage in an empty Albert Hall watching Chas alone with his piano doing soundcheck. That was special.

I was introduced to Chas n Dave and they are such lovely people.

I was lucky enough to be at the 100 Club in London on 15 May 2011 for a very intimate gig. This was to be Chas n Daves very last gig together, the very last gig on their Farewell Tour. The gig was recorded that night and cd's were finalised, put into pre-prepared cases and handed out to the lucky audience just ten minutes after Chas n Dave had left the stage! I thought that was amazing and a really cool idea. It's great to have such a special souvenir of a wonderful evening but sad that Chas n Dave will no longer be appearing live together. I'm just glad I was there for this final gig.........................Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit!!!!!!!!!!!
