Me and Alan at the Carling Academy, Islington

I went to see the wonderful Alan Fletcher aka Dr Karl Kennedy do at gig in Islington last night and it was one of the best nights out ever. He brought the house down with his own material and also a number of rock classics, Summer of 69, Living on a Prayer, Tainted Love, to name but a few with an amazing finale of I Predict A Riot!

The crowd were going wild. And the amazing guy that Alan is, he stopped to sign autographs for everyone who wanted one after the show. I went to see him after the show as I've been in contact with him for a number of years and I got a big hug and kiss when he saw me and just to be dead cool I asked him (in rock style fashion) to sign my arm!!!! Cool man!

My claim to Alan fame is that I was the first ever 'Fan of the Month' on his official website www.alanfletcher.net and if you go to the site by clicking on his name at the top of this page you'll see me on the Homepage pictured with Alan a few years back just above the link to the Messageboard!!! Take a look!!!

Just have to say that I saw the fantasic radio and tv presenter Iain Lee at the show and he recognised me from being one of his MySpace buddies and he said hello!!! Thanks Iain. You and Alan are both Legends. I had a fab night!!!!
