Fear is temporary, regrets last forever!!!

Hello there and welcome to my website about me.

I threw this site together mainly so my friends and family can log on and see what I've been up to but, amazingly I've had many visitors to the site, people I don't even know, from various countries and to me that's quite thrilling. So I keep updating the site to keep it fresh and interesting should my vistors get so bored that one day they decide to log on again!!!

I decided to make 2009 a year of experiences and finally give up on material things to spend my money on seeing great places, doing fun things and creating lots of wonderful memories for myself. This will continue throughtout 2010.

I've had a great time in 2009, I've done so much and experienced lots of great things, some of which you can read on this website.

I'll keep you posted as to what I get up to next!!!!

Never give up on your dreams..........................

My wish for 2010

Since 1984 I've been trying to have my photo taken with Paul McCartney.

I've seen Paul in concert, attended World Premieres of his classical work, camped out over night for book and cd signings and for wristbands for special gigs.

In 2010 I will have been a Paul McCartney fan for 30 years.

My dream is to have a photograph taken with him. I thought it'd be easy when I was 12 back in 1984 and I started writing letters to tv and radio stations to see if they could help. Fast forward 25 years and I've still not managed to fulfil my dream.

I hope 2010 will be my year. I have everything crossed.................................

Please click below to sign my petition if you think that I deserve to finally meet Paul McCartney and have my photo taken with him. Thank you!!!!!!!

I was recently contacted by email for my picture to be used. This is an extract from that very email!!!!

"Dear Rachel, I need a nice photo to illustrate the architecture of Liverpool in the forthcoming Yearbook of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation, and found a great photo of yours of the waterfront. The Institute is holding its annual conference in Liverpool in June , and your photo would be perfect for a general article on the Institute's activities with a caption referring to the conference and, of course, a credit note to you".

Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his Grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
